Project: Automotive Photography
Role: Commercial & Automotive Photographer.
The Challenge: A private client needed professional photo sets for two separate vehicles, but under a significant constraint: a hard deadline of one hour for both cars.
This tight timeframe meant I had to work with extreme efficiency while solving the primary technical challenge of automotive photography—managing reflections that hide a car’s condition and cheapen its appearance.
My Approach:
Efficient Problem-Solving: I immediately used a circular polarizing filter (CPL) to cut distracting reflections from the paint and glass. This was the single most important tool for achieving a professional look quickly.
Standardized Shot List: I executed a pre-planned and comprehensive package of all key angles for both vehicles (Full 360° exterior, key interior shots) without wasting a minute.
The Outcome:
Two complete, clean, and professional sets of images were delivered within the one-hour deadline.
