My Role: Visual Strategist & Product Photographer

Brief: To create premium commercial images of a custom PC built by HIPO for the professional e-sports team, KOI.

The visuals needed to showcase HIPO’s engineering, amplify the KOI brand, and highlight components from key sponsors like MSI.

GAMING PC FOR KOI

Strategic Objectives:

  • Collaboration: Showcase HIPO’s build quality alongside components from key sponsors .

  • Engineering: Highlight the immaculate internal details, including cable management and liquid cooling.

  • Branding: Amplify KOI’s unique aesthetic through custom engravings and design elements

The Challenge & Solution:

Full front view of the KOI Custom Gaming PC tower with the white KOI logo, top panel with scale design, and purple-lit dragon art.

The primary obstacle was an on-site shoot with severe space and lighting constraints.

My solution was to build a temporary studio, shooting on a white background to maximize the scarce light and capture crisp details. Using flags and specific angles, I focused on unique branding elements and internal components.

The final, dramatic look was achieved in post-production by meticulously inverting the background to a pure, high-contrast black, making the signature KOI purple glow stand out and delivering a premium, studio-quality finish.

Angled view of the top and rear of the PC case, highlighting the smooth black panels and the KOI-patterned ventilation cutouts with subtle purple light.
